TRAINING OVERVIEW

California Dance Academy guides beginning to pre-professional dancers through a carefully designed curriculum of ballet, pointe, variations, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and conditioning classes.

Our ballet curriculum draws on the best of the ABT, RAD, Vaganova, and Cecchetti methods, and all our classes are taught by experienced industry professionals.

    LOWER DIVISION

    For ages 5 – 12

Performance Opportunities

A ballet dancer in a burgundy dance outfit performs on stage against a plain blue background, kneeling on one knee with her arms raised gracefully.

Dance is a performing art.  We strongly encourage all students to take advantage of the many performing opportunities available through California Dance Academy. This is a great way to reinforce everything students are learning in day-do-day classes, and gives them something to work towards.

Performing helps with self-confidence, improves concentration and memory, strengthens social connections, and is also a lot of fun!
